'TheCommonThread was born from a fundamental ambition: to share true Neapolitan pizza with London. Initially a tiny family-owned eatery established by the Rossi household in 1985, these pizzas boast recipes that have been preserved over generations.
Marco Rossi, the pioneer of our pizzeria, mastered the art of pizza creation while exploring Italy, training with renowned pizzaiolos in Naples—the original home of pizza. After returning to the UK, her aim was to replicate the essence of authentic Italian pizza, maintaining traditional procedures and selecting premium ingredients.
What started as a quaint diner with room for just 12 customers has expanded into a cherished local landmark, yet our dedication to excellence and genuineness has remained intact. We continue to employ traditional wood-fired ovens, prepare our dough from scratch daily, and select the finest quality ingredients available.
Nowadays, 'TheCommonThread' is still managed by the Rossi family, with the next generation taking charge of our devoted team. While we have integrated certain contemporary updates, the core of our business is unchanged: crafting scrumptious, genuine pizzas that unite people.
